About a follow on

A lead of 320 , with cloud covering the skies ,prodigious swing on the cards ,with 3 good swing bowlers in the team , a captain on his mission to win the test and he decides to bat again.
Doesn't this look like an anticlimax?Sadly Yes.
The captain is Rahul Dravid who scored 12 off 96 balls in 2nd innings. This decision wiil be much debated and some willl say that he did it as History suggested that England could have turned the tables on India if he were to follow on.History says many things , it says of India's poor record overseas , about melting under pressure and so on.
When are we going to change histoty ?
When we will wite hostory?
It was Captain's call but with the team that he has I thik he should have written the History rather than taking lessons from it.
England will battle out on 5th day and if they survive we will say rahul didint give follow on and rest is History.

I did anticipate that Rahul wouldn't make England follow-on mainly because he wanted to play safe. Why else he didn't declare after Kumble's century in the first innings?? After the pathetic World Cup performance, he had to deliver this time around to save his job.

I think dravid was not wrong with his decision to bat again.....first of all zaheer was not fully fit..n wen u talk of creating history it has already been created....he just didnt want to play spoilsport...n 1 more thing..being indian captain is not easy....

The decision was not correct according to me.First at international level you should not be 'tired' after bowling for a day.And 2-0 is always better than 1-0. He just avoided any chance of coming under pressure .
Is our batting line-up so cranky that it cannot chase 100-125 max in 4th inning?
You cannot leave alone a chance like that .. period. As a captain you have to win as many tests as possible.Dravid failed in this ..
