So there we are ... All huge expectations came down as India suffered a ignominous loss at the Hands Of champions .Indeed Aussies are champions and it doesnt require any further proof.But Is India this much Bad ? Much famed batting linup crumbled like pack of cards .As Kumble pointed out , it is not skills they are lacking , it is a mental block , it is pressure to perform against Aussies , I feel that they are feared of Aussi reputation .Sachin half century in first innings did show that you can score runs and that too at brisk pace .Lets hope that other Batsmen take a leaf out of that . Otherwise this much hyped test series will be one sided affair which it is promising to be .

When i see sachin playing nowadays i must confess that it is not a good site.He seems to be toiling hard for runs.They dont come easily as they used to for him.And having seen Genius that he is its really hard to see him fighting . Cricket came naturally to him , Good length ball on middle stump and we saw Sachin making a statement with his trademark staright drive. Where are those strokes now ? They are still there , but annoyingly few and far between. Now when Sachin dominates opppsition bowling . It becomes the News.Was it really so 4-5 years before ? Can we see Sachin dominate consistently as he used to ?. Can Sachin again get runs in the manner he used to ? Can we see that Boy sending Abdul Quadir googlys out of the ground at his own will ? Only he knows the answer probably ... the art is still there .. hunger is still there ..hope the zeal comes again ....some flowing cover drives come again.

20-20 has started and there is buzz around everywhere .Nobody seems to give India any chance , let alone winning , of decent performance also . We dont have our stalwarts Sachin , Dravid ,Ganguly (?) and therefore it will be OK if India fare badly at the world cup. But can India rise to the occasion? Can India against all odds and expectations , come out of the blues and spring a surprise. Answer to this question for me is surprisingly Yes!!! India was never lacking in Talent part of the cricket, it has that in abundance.Only part was the pressure to perform. And its good that this team is not expected to win.As for me , this Indian squad has nothing to loose .They will have a go at the opposition and if they do that ,they really are too talented bunch of cricketers who will lose against any team including Australia. 20 -20 is about talent ,its about performing right from the word go.And I daresay India has lot of experience on this front.Every indian player at some stage of career pl

A lead of 320 , with cloud covering the skies ,prodigious swing on the cards ,with 3 good swing bowlers in the team , a captain on his mission to win the test and he decides to bat again. Doesn't this look like an anticlimax?Sadly Yes. The captain is Rahul Dravid who scored 12 off 96 balls in 2nd innings.This decision wiil be much debated and some willl say that he did it as History suggested that England could have turned the tables on India if he were to follow on.History says many things , it says of India's poor record overseas , about melting under pressure and so on. When are we going to change histoty ? When we will wite hostory? It was Captain's call but with the team that he has I thik he should have written the History rather than taking lessons from it. England will battle out on 5th day and if they survive we will say rahul didint give follow on and rest is History.

Hello , This is my fisrst stint at blogging.Hope to keep this going for long time to come. I think this one was long due.I always wanted to pen down (wild) thoughts that knock my mind from time to time.Anyways better late than never. So what will I write about ? First thing that comes to my mind is cricket , my beloved game.I will try to feature happening in cricket world .From Ricky Ponting to Ramaesh Powar... Then there are always some very small instaces which have long term effect on you .I feel that I can narrate those as well .It will be journey into many questions left unanswered unless you start thinking them seriously ..blogging is one way to start..
